The Opportunity

• Build highly scalable web applications for our customers.
• Plan and design effective, elegant solutions to support a rapidly growing user base.
• Take full ownership of the entire engineering stack required to deliver features and results.
• Collaborate with our tight-knit engineering team in an Agile environment.
• Establish strong engineering practices and mentor team members.
• Guide and lead a team of offshore engineers (3-8 members).

Required Experience and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field is required.
• Four (4) years of experience building large-scale web applications.
• Four (4) years of experience and expertise in .NET, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Four (4) years of experience with SQL Server, from schema design to writing complex queries, procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and consuming REST web services.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Experience with cloud storage services like AWS and Azure is preferred.
• Experience with CI tools like TeamCity and Jenkins is preferred.
• Experience working with git and repositories such as GitHub is preferred.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns, with senior-level full-stack expertise in front-end, middle-tier, and back-end development.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, multi-threaded programming, LINQ, .NET, MVC, and IoC containers.
• Experience implementing secure web-based solutions using .Net MVC, SharePoint Framework, Azure services, and Azure SQL PaaS.
• In-depth knowledge of application security, HIPAA compliance, and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Disciplined approach to testing.
• Natural curiosity and a passion for empirical research and problem solving.
• Ability to thrive as part of a passionate, self-driven team focused on high-quality products and solutions.
