Description
The role of the Implementation Manager is client-focused and reports to the Director of Project Implementation. The Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation projects of all sizes and complexities for various warehouse clients worldwide.

In partnership with the Project Manager, Scrum Master, and the Director of Project Implementation, the Implementation Manager will work with an Agile delivery team to provide solutions to clients.

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:

• You are comfortable maintaining partnerships with Datex internal and external client stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met;
• You know how and when to interact with users and software engineers to translate business requirements into functional tech specs;
• You have a solid grasp of software engineering protocols and development;
• You can troubleshoot WMS software and provide on-site support/training for client warehouse employees;
• You are skilled at assisting in the development and testing of WMS software features;
• You can contribute to the development of warehouse software reports and system features;
• You have experience in warehouse and logistics functions, such as shipping, receiving, inventory, and lifts.

• This role is remote-hybrid as you may travel frequently as directed or needed.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading requirement discovery
• Facilitating solutions design
• Training clients
• Serving as a customer liaison to field concerns, strategize solutions, and set expectations or limitations
• Adding detail to Product Backlog items so Technical Associates can deliver with confidence
• Providing oversight of technical deliverables from Technical Associates
• Testing technical solutions in the customer environment
• Ensuring client Go Live success either on-site or remotely

• Assigning tasks and providing training to Technical Associates

• Acting as a client consultant to advise on best practices and efficiencies
• Assisting the Director and other departments with process improvement initiatives
• Ensuring all artifacts are stored in the DevOps project for the client
• Potentially acting as the Product Owner for a specific Client Delivery Team
• Potentially specializing in work for customers from a specific industry

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in implementing WMS, TMS, or other supply chain-related software
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and clients
• Experience in the warehousing industry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or 7+ years of experience managing software implementation
• Superior communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written mediums
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time during employment

Salary range: $100k to $140k base plus bonus opportunities, depending on experience, skill set, and other factors.
